I analyze the villains, the characters such as Klaus, Vanya, Luther, Alison, Five, Diego and Lila, how they changed, the poor writing, and the fact the final season only had 6 episodes.

Season four feels like the writers never watched the first three seasons, but just heard about it from a friend.

this season gave “netflix lowered our budget so let’s wrap this up quick”, and it’s so disappointing, Netflix has always done this show dirty, especially with promotion

The extra siblings not being absorbed is a massive plothole.

I honestly agreed on this point. The series became more like the thing they just needed to be finish to meet the deadline😭😭😭😭

I wish the Umbrella Academy had gotten a better ending by having them going back to 2019 and to where they were supposed to be, with Five and the original Ben with the timeline fixed. Its honestly sad to see what Netflix did. 6 years and the whole show just got ruined. All that hype for what? For Diego to get heartbroken and cheated on by his own wife. For Five to betray his brother.

And I find it sooo hard to believe that five couldn’t figure out that the cia was apart of the evil organization after who knows how long of being in the CIA but Luther figures it out after seeing the guys wrist once broooo

I seriously thought the season was being done in two parts. That finale left me feeling so empty.

Season 1: Moon exploding
Season 2: Nuclear doomsday
Season 3: Universe ending paradox
Season 4: Sex

1: Didn't make Sloane come back, Then why they even added her in previous season
2 : Didn't explain everything clearly, if we see this as final season
3 : What about post credit scene, Another Ben reading Book?
4 : Gave worst story arcs to the main characters like Five, Kalus and Luther
5 : Acting of some actors looked mediocre
6 : Unsatisfied Ending
7 : Forced and Weird relationships
8 : Overall lazy and worst writing !!!!

I’m glad I’m not the only one questioning why Diego’s daughter and the other daughter still exist if their parents don’t exist anymore lol. I mean Claire’s daughter was already an anomaly anyway since she was born from someone in the past and then brought back to another timeline …. So since the kids are still alive does that mean that the umbrella academy still exists in some way since we saw the 8 marigolds at the end of the show?

It was disappointing at best unfortunately.. 2 years for just 6 episodes? and it made all the previous seasons and what they did useless considering that they completely ceased to exist

questions that I need to be answered by the writers: why did Ray leave? Where is Sloane? What are Diego’s twin’s names and why do they not seem to matter lol? What were the writers thinking when they put Lila and Five together? Why didn’t Viktor absorb all their marigold and sacrifice himself? What was the point of them dying to erase marigold if they just came back as marigold flowers? Did umbrella Ben know he got shot by Reggie because you’d think he’d be fuming during the dinner season in s2. When the siblings saw Ben get shot why did they allow themselves to get brainwashed (because they would’ve had to sit in the machine right?) and also I felt like if Viktor can blow up the moon he could kill bennifer.

here’s some more,
why did Luther get his ape body back after ingesting marigold? Why was Jennifer in a squid and how was that relevant? Season three end credits? Why was there a timeline train station? Literally any explanation to Five creating the commission. How does Lila have a family, is it like a found family or…? Why was Abigail on the moon? Why was Sparrow Ben painted above the mantle? Why was Christopher a cube? How did sparrow Ben draw Jennifer if he doesn’t know who she is? If Jennifer is so dangerous, why didn’t Reggie not include her in the new universe? Or just kill her instead of ‘protecting’ her?

Umbrella Academy: Worst to Best
S4 (Rushed and Inconsistent writing)
S3 (One Long Pause in the story)
S1 (Good introduction to the series as a whole)
S2 (Very entertaining & Peak Writing)

The worst part is that they gave in to Five's suicide plan without questioning it first or coming up with an alternative plan. They could've returned to their original timeline and undo "The Jennifer incident" by getting rid of her. Why did they just watch Jennifer trying to come in contact with Ben when they knew it would mean the end of the universe. Five's arc felt incomplete as well as others. They could've given us a 20 episode season with backstory for some characters like Ben and more story of their childhood.

I already thought Viktor was super bland, but his dialogue in season 4 was so cringy. It sounded like a fan fiction writer was writing his dialogue
