however, it didn't work for me (windows 11); The process was exactly as you explained, but I still have only my teams contacts & chats in teams, but not my skype contacts & chats :-( Now, the migration-window isn't shown any more. Any idea?

Hey for those it did not work - I joined Team Insider couple weeks back. I just left Teams Insider programme now, Teams restarted and then I joined it again. This seemed to do the trick. My chats in Teams now.
