I know that nursing homes aren't the happiest places but don't put you loved ones in there and forget about them. Years ago I worked in a nursing home and I remember a lady calling her daughter begging her to come see her. The majority didn't get visitors. It was so sad. The people who abandon their loved ones make it a painful desolate place. I realize there are some who can't see their loved ones for different reasons, but a lot can. Don't throw them away, they are precious.

I was just talking to my husband about this last night. I'm expanding my flowers this year and we were thinking about all the things to do with the flowers I can't sell. I remember doing something similar when I was little and I would love to be able to do it with my son. It meant so much to everyone and he is such a people person....

I’m a grown ass man, serving in law enforcement and 12 years in the military (now in the reserves). This makes me tear up almost instantly. You really made a difference to many people. That’s just beautiful ❤

I'm in tears as I write this. Thank you so much for remembering seniors in homes. Unfortunately, a lot of them are forgotten once they are there. I used to volunteer at one, and it was too sad for me.

amazing. I used to volunteer a a nursing home and the sad memories have haunted me 😔 They're was this lady who would get up each Sunday and hope her son would come get her for church but I never once saw it happen 😔

I worked in long-term care for 35+ years and enjoyed every second of it. You are so, so right in saying that so very many if these folks are forgotten. It's totally heart wrenching. I think this gentleman has done a very beautiful thing. God Bless him.♥️🙏

I gave roses I bought from the dollar tree to all the employees at the shelter I live in. They do so much for us and I wanted to show my appreciation them. It feels better to give. Next time I think I'll visit a nursing home.

This broke my heart. How are they forgotten? These poor souls lived lives that contributed to our society - some raised families that are out there somewhere. My heart hurts for them. This was a beautiful gesture. ❤️💐
