What an absolute modern classic. We refer to it as a "British film" because it was filmed in London and the story takes place here. But we should acknowledge director Alfonso Cuarón who is Mexican and the fact that it was funded by a joint U.K. / U.S. / Japan venture. Anyway, it's ultimately a human story and despite its obvious ventures into a non-existent future, there are so many things which we can all relate to within the story.

Hey guys! Hey Greg, glad to hear you finally checked this one out & enjoyed it as well. I'm a fan of this film, actually hearing you two discuss it makes me want to watch it again. The car scene is also one of my favorites when it comes to tracking shots.

I remember working at my local movie theater when it was released, but unfortunately I never got a chance to see it.

I've heard so many great things about it, and I remember seeing a snippet of that scene in the woods and immediately got anxious. Another one for the watchlist! 🙏🙏🙏
