Same thing happened with my coffee roastery. Council wouldn’t have any of it. I closed the business down a few months back. What a shame.
Two Turkish barbers within 50 meters of one another is fine though…

The council think that if there are 2 chip shops the locals will eat twice as many fish and chips, and they cant be trusted to make their own choice of what to eat

This is the same town that spent millions moving a perfectly good swimming baths with great parking located half a mile from the centre, into the centre where there is no extra parking for it. Yay!

They're rarely Turkish though, when you speak to them they're Kurdish which is from Iraq/ Iran, there's a big culture difference.
