I've had my z flip 5g for some time now and I think the bottom line is; its not for everyone and that's okay. I love my zflip, I'm always careful with phones any everything I own. Its within my price range and I wouldn't impact me greatly if I broke it. After a while its just a phone and the flip factor becomes common place. Big pros for me are I can use its half fold feature to record myself singing & playing guitar, it fits in my tiny sports car that doesn't even have cup holders, and really that's more than I could ask for. The biggest down side I would say is the camera isnt so great, but also I wouldn't consider myself a "power" user since I never really use phones that much and have never used instagram.

It is a Thin Glass is under a layer plastic and is folding every time you opened the cell, Jerry made 2 videos showing the glass finally!!! He made a hard test on the screen!!! I am a Happy Samsung customer for now !!!😎🙃😊

The polymer layer isn't just a protective layer it IS the digitizer, the area that senses your touch. Their marketing isn't dishonest because there is glass. It just happens to be the OLED display substrate.

The UTG makes the display more uniformly flat compared to the one in the galaxy fold which may have an uneven surface with bumps and indentations.

I'd love to try this phone as a tech enthusiast! There's always risk associated with tech.
I also agree, Samsung should've been more upfront with the exact details of this screen.

I don't associate glass with durability! 😂 It's glass. Making a phone completely glass is crazy to me. I like the metal phones better.

The benefit of dual protected UTG display is more flat and good feeling touch than CPI plastic only display . I think it is better than the display of Galaxy fold..

I still prefer standard touchscreen, maybe one day when they develop this fold phone technology more, for now it's the beginning.

Who else bought a z flip and broke on them without dropping it just day too day use my z flip finally died after 5 months the reason was dust or tiny rock/ sand killed the screen 😭

Thin glass on the inside of a plastic layer, that can be easily scratched and not removed, is really pointless, why bother with a glass that is for lack of a better word 'hidden'

Zach has made himself look a proper clown by saying there are only bristles at each end of the hinge and not the side edges, lost alot of credibility imo
