This was excellent! In addition to your excellent explanation, I think it is good to see the Strong’s concordance and Thayer’s concordance for the word braiding (plaiting) in 1 Peter 3:3. The keyword is *elaborate.*

It is such an oxymoron and a laughter, that the Catholics want to add more books to the Bible when they don’t even open the Bible! And if they do it’s not the Bible I know

When God got me right, He let me know don't argue with Him, don't argue about Him. I believe the Bible first word to the last word, period. I don't need proof the flood, the Red Sea crossing, the walls of Jericho, David and Goliath, or even the most amazing miracle - the rotating of the Earth in reverse for Hezekiah, are true. And it is not my job or responsibility to argue with, try to prove or convince someone the Bible is true. My only job is to share the Gospel, that judgment IS coming and time IS running out. It is up to each individual to decide if they believe the Bible and one day each individual will one day have to give account for what they decided.

I think MOST people who reject Christ or God is because of the MANY different faiths, Christian and nonChristian that contradict one another. So hard to determine which is the 'correct' belief. even among 'Christian' faiths. I was in California and the two Baptist churches in the town I was in both accused the other as 'not being true to the faith'. Sad sad sad.

My advice would be to read the Bible yourself. Start in Acts. You will learn the history of the church, how the apostles settled their differences. Then read Romans. By the end of Romans, you should be able to see and understand what is truth and what is not. Continue on. IF you finish the Net Testament, then read the Old Testament and you should recall explanations from the New Testament about the Old Testament.

The Bible is absolutely trustworthy. I may not be able to answer all the naysayers and unbelievers criticisms and questions, but that is not my job or responsibility.
