We almost finally have every LEGO Clone Trooper!

This weekend, Ross & I went to buy some supplies for the new LEGO City room at Home Depot. We decided to paint the room bright white, but while we were out we stopped in at Bricks & Minifigs (resale LEGO Store in Austin) and found some incredible, old rare LEGO Star Wars sets that we had our eye on for a while! I think this is the end of the white whale LEGO Star Wars sets...

That incomplete Ghost 75053 was painful to look at. I was so happy I found mine complete with Phantom 75048 and all minifigs at B&M Anaheim (in Fullerton, CA). They even had one displayed the following week!

I have a brand new sealed set of that Ghost ship in my closet somewhere, had no idea it was worth so much. I got it on clearance for like 60% off back when it was available and just never got around to building it so it just sits on a shelf somewhere. I’m not super into Star Wars so I didn’t know that set was so valuable.

In November 2020 I was so lucky to pick up both the 75053 The Ghost and the 75048 Phantom 100% complete sets with all minifigs, all in mint condition for only £80 (113 USD) on eBay in the UK. Happy you got your White Whale too!

One time I got a mint condition 2005 general Grievous cape in a bag of junk LEGO at Value Village for $10! No joke, it was mint condition and in even better condition then my previous 2005 Grievous cape.
