SCP-001 is a sapient entity or entities capable of initiating and exerting control over anomalous phenomena on Earth and in all regions of space observable thus far by modern scientific methods. SCP-001 is hostile, and is believed to be motivated by a desire to cause profound distress and suffering to humanity on a planetary scale. The methodology of SCP-001 in achieving this goal appears to include undermining large-scale human institutions and specifically eroding belief in a rational consensus reality.

Interesting fact about this 001 proposal. If you google SCP 001 this is always the first proposal that pops up. No other proposal does this unless you type their title or the name of the proposal.
Because of this I believe that this might be one of the most likely to be the actual SCP 001.

It seems to me like authors of SCP files are SCP 001 - creating and editing anomalous objects and entities, always adding more at accelerated rate as SCP fandom grows - SCP universe becomes more popular. Sure, they might all be fake in our reality, but ...

Damnit, not the coffee machine! He changed that one just to piss off the Foundation, Coca-Cola stock was just an unpleasant side-effect. I have a hard time seeing this one being the real SCP-001, though, because it changes the cannon and previously established containment procedures for many SCPs.
