When people told you to get off London, I think they meant to get out of the city, go to the National parks. Go to Yorkshire go to Glastonbury and see the Somerset levels. Lake District.

It’s not really the North. But of course it’s more northerly than London. We refer to Birmingham as being in the Midlands. 🙂

If you want to explore a proper Northern city, try Newcastle.
And while you're up there, go to Edinburgh in Scotland. It's AWESOME.

Also, get yersen down to Devon, Cornwall, Wales, the Peak District, the lake District, and Scotland to see some of the beautiful countryside.

I live in Birmingham and people talk shit about it but I find it to be a great city! Especially the city centre and especially at Xmas with the German Frankfurt market! Love the churches being in the middle of modern malls and just generally a vibrant and relaxing experience! Birmingham ❤️ 🇬🇧
