Old man here... never heard of Romy before though I'd vaguely heard the name of the earlier band (but none of the music.) Heard this once or twice on R6M and quite liked it. Third, fourth time, I started to recognise it and pay a bit more attention. Driving today, Mary-Annd Hobbs played it, I turned it up proper loud, and suddenly -- OMG!! Pop perfection! Every part of the music and vocal went KERCLICK in my head. The melancholic tone... the hooks... everything. Genius! Gonna have to buy the album now :)
