Είναι η νεότερη μονή της Μητρόπολης Αιτωλίας και Ακαρνανίας ιδρυθείσα το 2007 ενώ στο αύλειο χώρο έχουν ανεγερθεί τα κελιά ενώ φιλοξενείται και το παρεκκλήσι του Αγίου Κοσμά του Αιτωλού(πανηγυρίζει στις 24 Αυγούστου) που εγκαινιάστηκε στις 30 Απριλίου 2019 απ'τον Μακαριστό Μητροπολίτη Αιτωλίας και Ακαρνανίας Κοσμά.Η μονή είναι γυναικεία και πανηγυρίζει στις 25 Μαρτίου
