I think that it shouldn’t be shown as a “thing” finding out your sexuality should just come naturally, not by what you see on television. So that being said, I think they shouldn’t even talk about sexuality in cartoons. Especially for younger children.

The dude is gay. Also if i want to like a character it doesn't matter what sexuality they are. Its not something i look out for. If a character is cool then nothing can change that but this forced representation just feels weird.
They need a different way to do that.

Honestly I think we shouldn’t influence kids at all not even to be straight either. And when they’re older they’ll figure out what they like on their own. Instead we should teach them to be kind and accepting

LGBTQ characters shouldn't be treated any differently from straight characters in media. LGBTQ people exist in real life, and it won't harm children to realize that.

The idea that children will be "influenced" or somehow turned gay by cartoons is absurd. If things worked that way, why couldn't you just influence them back into being straight?

I want no sex stuff (gay or not gay) around my kid until he is at least 15. Childhood should be a time of innocence. It's none of states/schools/Hollywoods business to teach my kids about sex stuff before he is at least 15. Leave it on the responsible parents..

In the 90s and early 2000s they had trans characters in cartoons and it wasn't a big deal. Like the cartoon Powerpuff girls.
