Jaipur, the pink city (Rajasthan, India - Indië)

Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist sights in India and is part of the so-called "Golden Triangle". It has a lot of cultural and architectural attractions such as palaces and forts. It's also a good place to see some traditional crafts such as gemstone cutting, textile, jewellery and carpet fabrication.

Jaipur is één van de meest populaire toeristische sites in Indië en is één van de steden van de zogenaamde "Gouden Driehoek". Er zijn heel wat bezienswaardigheden op cultureel en architectureel vlak zoals paleizen en forten. Traditionele ambachten van de streek zijn o.a. het bewerken van edelstenen, textiel, de fabricage van juwelen en tapijten.
