Some people don’t own a business they just work and pay taxes. I believe character is as important as business acumen. If I did own a business I wouldn’t want a person lacking or without character as a manager, that would appear that I myself put no value on character!

As a peace loving Canadian neighbor to the U.S. we are terrified of the news coming out of the U.S. on a daily basis let alone who will be the next president. While everyone's minds are being diverted by the election and filled with the childish vitriol that the news media spews out on a daily basis we are ALL in fact in a very precarious situation on a global scale. For me my biggest fear is Foreign in nature with the rising tensions and alignment of Russia and China and if that continues to escalate then no amount of policy will stave off the inevitable catastrophic outcome. We are a unique human species living only on this planet yet despite our intelligence we strive to completely and utterly destroy ourselves in every way possible.

the biggest mistake is to believe voting for a president is the answer, you gotta vote local then outwards, in other words, paying attention to whom we elect for governors and senators is vastly more important (and of course, your local government is the most important one that directly affects you the most). The TRICK that the feds and the big corporations has done is to make you believe the President is THE man that has the most power....look at the numbers of people that vote for their local/state (in percentage) vs presidential elections and you'll see the issue clear as day.

Good morning Keith and Renee. I am one of your big fans...and I am especially a fan of the kind of parents you are. You have raised four children who clearly know the meaning of having character. You have it and so does Renee. I am not here to pick a fight or disagree with anything you say about politics. I am just here to say that I do care about character and I know you will respect my belief that it matters in our leader. I don't want to be lied to and I don't want a narcissistic sociopath in charge of this country. Policy is correct...and so important, but I want to vote knowing that the person who has a policy is going to make it happen for the right reasons and not to line his and his family's pockets. The real problem is big money donors have too much influence on who gets on the major tickets. No chance for anyone but the annointed to run. So choices are limited and the policies put forward are not what the people want.

Voting is the cornerstone of democracy. *You must vote.* While the US voting system may have its flaws and could be structured more efficiently and fairly, this does not diminish the importance of each voter’s voice and choices. By voting, we engage in the political process, as politicians are our representatives. It is vital to choose those whom we believe have the community's best interests in mind. Not voting is akin to surrendering your voice to those you might disapprove of.
We must uphold the fundamental principles of democracy and hold accountable those who dismiss these principles as trivial, simply because they have the privilege to remain ignorant. We cannot expect democracy to be perfect, nor should we avoid participating because we disapprove of certain aspects, feel overwhelmed, or are uncomfortable with change.
We must start somewhere, and voting is the first step. We should seize every opportunity to vote, but it is crucial to do so well-informed, thinking not only of ourselves but of the broader community. We are interdependent, whether we like it or not. No one should be left behind, even those with whom we disagree or find difficult to understand.

I saw it…..just to encourage you in your health journey, Keith you have to break your coke habit, not only is it a ton of empty calories it is very unhealthy!!! You are from Texas, you have to love tea 🤠 Get some tea bags and brew your own tea, put a little baking soda in it and a little sugar, pour over your loved ice…..way better than soda and it’s sweet with 2 tsp sugar not the 17 tsp in that bottle of coke. You’re in the Caribbean, they have all kinds of different tea and they are actually healthy !!! We want to see you on this boat for many many more years !!!

Agree. Policies matter everyone votes, but don't let the big money tell you what to do. Also we need vote out all the old senators and representatives, they are trying to run the country, and need new bipartisan blood.
