Went there many times and was a regular goto for me when I loved there 2 years ago. There is also a hotpot, bbq and sushi place in the night market beside the Chiang Mai University for 239 baht worth a try as well and Shabushi which is a common chain found in all the malls in Thailand. The food looks delicious - especially the pork leg. You’re absolutely right - both Thai and German cuisine use a lot of pork. The simplicity of German food is part of its appeal. Pickled vegetables are incredibly delicious, too. 😊

@joelhansen Now, I'm not from Germany but I am from Norway and we have alot of the same dishes here. That stuff is not supposed to be oily. We don't use any oils in sauerkraut for instance. So I'm guessing the oil is there in that restaurant for you to get full quicker.

Buffet food usualy doesn't have 'outstanding' quality to it, but it's still... ALL YOU CAN EAT. it's a solid 6/10

I remember 3 dollar buffets at Circus Circus in Vegas. But 8 bucks is a steal for now a days.
