Bonus tip, if you want to go from a synced arp into one with a free rate seamlessly, just highlight a 16th note (or whatever) on the grid in arrangement view, and Ableton will show exactly how many milliseconds that is in the bottom left of your screen. Put that into the min/max of your mapped free rate.

1 simple trick I dont see anyone doing is automating the arp style, over a basic chord progression instead of it been a simple arp, it completely changes the feel and makes it feel absolutely human
