it is so nice to hear this track whenever you open rain world.. And then it ends if you're on the menu too long, and it's just... quiet animal sounds. It's so peaceful.

this song is both soothing and yet very depressing. Even without the knowledge of rainworld it feels of loss, being lost in somewhere so unfamiliar yet oddly peaceful. All the panic and fear of being alone has faded and now you are in solitude, somewhere vast and almost beyond your comprehension. Tranquil melancholy, like the sadness of loss with the peaceful knowledge in that those who are lost are not forgotten or gone.

The moment when you first open the game after purchasing it, greeted by one of the most iconic soundtracks out of all the ones you are yet to hear. No idea what is ahead of you in this little pixelated video game, not knowing the lore, about the lizard to end the first cycle, the broken, whizzing sounds of a helpless iterator, the bubbling as you submerge yourself in void fluid.

This song plays at the beginning and the end of the game. I won't forget this song, even if I wanted to. Rain World has been one of the most unique games I've ever played. It has intense difficulty, an insane story, and ultimately will be remembered by me. I will cherish the time I had with it.

both this and “random gods” give me a feeling of nostalgia remembering my first playthrough of this game almost 7 years ago. I was about 12 when I played this game for the first time, im not quite sure how I managed to stick through it.

going through the first areas like Outskirts, Industrial and Garbage Wastes makes me feel a little nostalgic as well. Its nice that this game started being appreciated towards the end of 2022.

I think this leitmotif represents the dying world of Rain World and the lack of control over it. What a sad game.

For some reason the chord(i think it is a chord) at 2:00 is extremely beautiful and sad, but calming... I can't have enough of it. It just makes me stop thinking and makes me think about everything at the same time. I think it's a simple sound but it affects me so much..

It's such a sad yet calming song but also just heartbreaking the more you play the game and discover the world. Especially after a playthrough, you probably fit into the shoes of The Survivor and it's just... soul crushing. Was it worth it in the end? Was our little pup sent towards the right path? Could there have been another way?

When I first bought Rain world I knew absolutely nothing about it, I was only interested because the style looked nice, that a game critic that I like said it was good and it was one sale

But when this song played, I knew I was about to experience something unforgettable....

This sounds a lot like a cross between the title screen songs from Yume Nikki and OneShot, which is great, because those are two of my favorite indie games of all time, as is this one.
