Thank you for this. The only problem is getting doctors to check what you are asking them to check, because they look at you like you are from Mars, and just want to put you on cholesterol medication. We need more doctors who are interested in helping heal you rather thank making the Pharma companies richer. But they are really hard to find.

Doctors are now part of the problem. Insurance taken over the Government basically TELLS Doctors what to do, and what to prescribe. And the insurance that is run by the government is invested in Pharma.
I have a medical Doctor AND a holistic doctor.
The holistic one is the one I trust and take advice from.
The other one is always suggesting medication. Even though I am completely healthy, and just on the borderline of what they consider high ( or low )
Then, when I do any background checking, I realize my numbers are fantastic. They are only doing what they are told by the government.
BEWARE

this is great content. What are the measurement units of the numbers you talk about? My exam results are in mmol/L

Wish there was a written version of this so I could accentuate the parts applicable to me and quickly reference it in the future

What size (actual measurement) should the LDL particle size be or will the test just show large or small size?

So when tested, my HDL was 84 and my cholesterol was 190. So doing the math, I get is .44. My trigs were 54. So I don’t feel like my trig’s are bad, but is there a problem with high HDL? Tia! Love your videos!!

Without too much info…I’m 71 years young and I’ve been taking statins for high cholesterol for years now and want to stop. I’ve had up to 250. I need help with this. I don’t know what my numbers are now because they run good while taken the statin. I want to stop but don’t want to jeopardize my health. I always say the cure is worse than the illness. I purchased your book today and I’m looking forward to getting on track. (I hope it’s not too late)

talk about carotid artery and ct scan - if all your blood tests are good - but you have plaque in the moderate range - what can you do to avoid statin recommendations??

THANK YOU for putting this out there. Welcome to my life since my teens...Does all of this still apply if you have familial hyperlipidemia? I am reactive to statins, and I'm on repatha, which I don't want to be on, either. I feel like I'm locked in since it's genetic... I'm ready roll the dice to avoid side effects.. I'm just not sure. Family heart event/deaths are hardcore, here. Im not usually one to put my sh*t out there, but, I'm looking at my recent numbers and trying to follow your video, but I'm not sure if blood sugar is just the glucose test or something else/another code. Mine: Chol:397 HDL:61 VLDL:24 NonHDL:336 Tris:120 LDL:312 Glucose:92 (is glucose fasting BS?) I do think past test years ago showed I have large LDL... I don't think I've gotten CRP or Insulin?? Oy...so many numbers and SO many years of stressing about this and feeling like I'm going to drop dead while running like my dad. Like, for real.

Will the particle size change or can they change over time if given the right conditions?
