da vinci firmware update super easy

I stated in the video you cant upgrade firmware after this, I meant with the da vinci software, it is fully update-able with arduino IDE or other methods. Please like share and or subscribe if you find this helpful.

I would suggest actually listing out what you have done on the forum in detail and we can go from there. Does your board have the reset pins and buttons on it?

Does this work with Mac? I could use a Windows computer as a one time thing to flash if needed, but I would want to run Repetier from my Mac.

I like the vid and the info you be spilling, thinking of buying this machine... where can i get at the repository to download the firmware.... And after its installed i just use repetier software? this is my first 3d printer like the oter guy lol

Great news! After a few delays, I finally got around to doing this and it was a success! Only thing now though is that the printer is no longer showing up on my computer properly because it does not have a driver, is that an issue or should repetier still use it just fine?

I could use some help going custom is not working out and going back OEM is not working either I could use some help going back to stock firmware I get "Flash page is locked".

Yes it is all through repetier of other printer host after firmware hack.

I got the FW installed but repetier won't connect. Does windows need drivers? My device manager says the driver is not installed.

Would you have the g code for the head wiping before each start of print. I have the same setting as you.

What were you guys on the forum using to edit the firmware or what were you starting with. I want to mess with the firmware but of course i can't edit the bin. My friend is really really good with firmware and he is used to working with arduino. We are looking at doing alot of cool things with it.

Hey man, I used this tutorial about a year ago to flash to repetier v .91... I was wondering if you experimented with upgrading from .91 to .92? Supposedly there are some major bug fixes.

does this work with the new J firmware? When i disconnect my internet and hit up grade firmware the little box pops up that says online service is not available please try again when i hit ok the other box never pops up that lets me select where to pick the firmware

Using the method shown, I get 'Updating Fail' on the Printer.  I tried to downgrade the firmware, and i got the same error.  Do i need to resort to opening and resetting the jumper method?

So after this update do I still need to purchase a filament resetter or can I reset it from the panel? Also Do I need to re-calibrate after the firmware update?

Good news, I just downloaded the arduino drivers off their site and now things seem to be working. Didn't realize it was that simple :P

Ok yeah, I have a problem now. Without a driver I can't seem to get Repetier to connect. No matter what number I set "com__" to, it says it can't find it. So until I can get the printer to connect with Repetier I'm pretty much stuck, any advice?
