Will They Break | Snode AD80 Adjustable Dumbbell Review
#dumbbellreview #adjustabledumbbells #garagegymreview

Snode adjustable dumbbells have a unique dovetail groove stress-bearing structure, the adjustment system and handle will not bear any force under any circumstances, so that they will never be damaged. All major parts of this dumbbell are made of cast iron.

The AD80 dumbbell set uses smaller diameter plates to maintain balance during exercise. The thicker 1.4” handle also brings a better grip experience. It designed for people of all heights and weights.

Snode AD80 dumbbells uses the adjustment dial to adjust, not the handle itself, so the handle is completely fixed and does not move a little under any circumstances, so your hand will not move uncontrollably at all while exercising.

Full cast iron plate without any plastic parts. One-piece chromed iron handle. Full cast iron dumbbell cradle for easily and quickly put the dumbbell back without jams.

Sturdy, and durable cradle, can hold up to 2T of pressure, easily and quickly put the dumbbells back without jams.It ensures that when the dumbbell is lifted, it won't raise other plates or cause the cradle to move or lifted too. Smash the dumbbell back in the cradle after exhausted training. No problem. Experience the unbreakable of our heavy duty cradle!

Using CNC tech , we combine dumbbell plates with dovetail slots, ensuring precision and strength, design for durability, it withstands over 20000N pressure, offering stability and drop resistance.
Round fully enclosed dumbbell plates are also providing balanced force on the muscles at every angle, no gaps in the plate.

The Rep x Pepin 85 pound set is now $1K. They’re no longer $900. Great honest review!

Cool product review. I can honestly say I’ll be looking into these. I’d like to see more of reps pepins by actual owners and flaws they have over time if any. Seem way too new to invest right now (for me) 😎

These seem cool, a more durable version of the Nuobells with less weight jumps. I am happy with my 90lh Powerblocks but excited to almost be outgrowing them for some movements. Those Ironmasters may be next up and will keep them at them pre-set for over 90lbs...

Thanks so much for the great review. I pre-ordered the REPxPeppin dumbbells when they first announced them. I am supposed to get them next month. Personally, I would not buy an adjustable dumbbell that doesn’t go in 5lbs increments for the reasons you spoke about. With all the dumbbells that are available today, why would anyone got with one that doesn’t do 5lbs increments? So many good ones out there and they are all close in price. Thanks again for the great review.

Snode finish is the problem. They chip and rust. Year and a half later I'm wondering how long I have before I have to sand them down and repaint them. Not just the plates either. The handle as well

Good review. I've had these for a while. I like them. I don't drop them so that hasn't been an issue. I didn't think I would but I do miss being able to adjust them by 5 lb increments especially at lower weights for things like side laterals for example. I was thinking of getting a set of PlateMates, but that's another $150 or so (I know they sell their own magnet weights but they don't look that great). I might sell them to get the Repins after I see some reviews.

Grip is important but I think the #1 issue is the form factor/length. The old adjustable weights were extremely long, even at low weights, and could get in way with some lifts. My old Bowflex adjustables were supper long even at 5-10 pounds. I just ordered these and am looking forward to the length being much closer to normal dumbbells.

The 10 pound increments is fine for me because I spent the extra money to get 2.5 and 1.25 pound PlateMates (I don’t like the looks of the ones Snode makes).

I've had mine since Nov. 2021. Work great & feel like a "real" dumbbell. I've never dropped them.

Awesome to see the evolution of adjustable DBs. Now we just need the $ to go down. Haha
