Cloth face coverings can help stop the spread of coronavirus and the government recommends wearing them particularly when keeping a social distance of 2 metres apart is hard to maintain.

Transport of London has said face masks should be worn on all their public transport services.

It's still important to practice good hygiene and wash your hands regularly, particularly before putting on, and after taking off your mask.

You should also wash your cloth face masks regularly and they can go in the wash with your other laundry, using your normal detergent.
