S&Box developement confuses me a bit, it is unity like but also has source elements. maps can either be made in the editor or hammer but this will probably be streamlined in the future.

I went on it, tried loading into a sandbox game and its just a ton of flashing red missing textures with nothing to interact with
Back to menu, hmm I just want to see the new construct so I'll go on maps. There it is, then as its trying to download, it somehow causes my entire internet to break until I stop it.

Seriously why does it run so poorly considering it's using Source 2? My PC is not that great but CS2, Dota 2 and even S2FM run pretty good on my PC, and the game doesn't even offer too many performance options, if even the avatar section runs at 20fps I don't want to imagine how it would be in a real game but I can't even get to one because it crashes or just gets stuck at 90% on download. As i know the game has been in development since 2015, and even with the fact that they switched the engine from UE4 to Source 2, I don't understand how even a basic feature like performance options are so limited.

I've been waiting 2-3 years to get a chance to play this, and now i finally can!
I tried both games shown in this video, yesterday... but none of them worked. After it loaded, there was just a black screen.
Yes, i know it's a developer preview... but like, it shouldn't be *THIS* buggy *and* terribly optimized.
