Just a matter of time before you get hit. I work in a health care facility in a small city.

Within last couple months- multiple people hit by cars when they were crossing street (usually in cross walks), one guy hit while in cross walk on his bicycle, a woman hit when she was just standing still in parking lot by a motorcycle, a car hit bicyclist who was on a sidewalk - and on other side I've seen multiple drivers who had hit people on foot or bikes.

Some of issues with drivers were as follows: extremely high blood sugar, insomnia, alcohol use, and first days learning how to drive. That's aside from distracted drivers.

None of above injured people were doing anything even remotely dangerous or reckless like weaving, those were wholly on drivers. Hopefully when you get hit you don't get hurt too badly. Also fyi - the drivers feel terrible when they hit someone
