Great ideas! Tuna and Noodle Casserole is a fave at my house. Tuna, noodles, mushroom soup ( i often make my own), a little milk ( i keep Dollar Tree boxed milk on hand too), and crushed potato chips on top, if you want. This is yummy! You can add cubed cheese, or peas, if you like those.

Great video. I "bake" my potatoes in the microwave...they taste the same as they would if you use the oven

These are great ideas Jaime! 😍
There are so many things you can grab from the pantry to make a number of meals! 😘
I love to take a potato, slice it in half and bake it for a few minutes in the microwave. Then I like to add broccoli and cook a little more. I keep adding things until I get to the cheese on top. After it finishes cooking, I add sour cream.
We used to have a sirloin place in my town and I always got a baked potato then went to the salad bar to pile on toppings.
Sadly the restaurant closed down but I started making it at home. I would add toppings depending on what I had on hand. From cubed ham to black olives, just a variety of things I like! Always starting with the potato halves then adding other things that needed to bake until I put the cheese on top, which kept everything in place.
Potatoes have gotten more expensive but they're still more reasonable than many other items. If I can't afford a big bag of them, then I can pick out a couple of good ones.
I've even taken a potato and cooked and mashed it then heated up a can of meat with gravy and put it on top of the mashed potato.
With me, I can stretch food even longer because it's just me. And canned goods can stretch any food I have on hand.
So glad you're giving us so many great ideas for stretching our meals!
Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰

As someone who struggles with potassium levels, we frequently have baked potatoes meals. I think we have had all of these relatively recently just because they are good besides being economical.

Awesome ideas❤ definitely needed this month. The no $ go to for us is homemade potato soup or tomato soup. Either using all canned veggies or half fresh half canned. Four cans of potatoes and two cans of ham and bean soup 1 can of cream of chicken soup. Tomato is 2 cans crushed tomatoes and 2 cans chicken broth and seasonings. Dollar tree croutons 👍👍 😋💗 goulash is perfect for this rainy weather!👍

Did you know that you can cook a potato in a microwave in about 8 minutes... Cost less to run than the oven .. just a thought.

Your meals may be cheap and simple however they are not necessarily healthy because they are high in cholesterol. You use a lot of cheese and some sour cream, which l have to avoid because of high cholesterol and so don't a lot of other people and high in carbs: beans, potatoes, white bread and pasta are all carbs, something a diabetic has to watch. Where's your protein. How about some chicken with vegetables. I know they might be more expensive but they are healthier. A lot of people can't eat dishes like that.
