Here is a parallel to jacob & esau. Esau gives away his inheritance for a bowl of stew, then whines to his father because he wants it back. Nowadays, edom whines to the nations because they lost control of jacob's inheritance and the nations are ignorant/ rebellious. " there is nothing new under the sun"
