So my 2013 came with it installed already. Problem is it was “ accidentally “ run over. Bought a new fauve but dealer wants $100+ to activate the new one on a truck that has the system installed. Is that my only choice? Anyone?

I had my negative battery terminal out for a month while i was on vacation, after reconnecting it my remote start, starts the truck up on its own, its been doing it every few hours or so. What can I do to stop this? Thanks
