I dont understand why this game is not sold in a box with pieces and instructions... its really hard to jump into a game that is in the limbo... where to start? What do you need?

Very informative video, even though we play with sea mines you inspired me to set them up at Capitols also love the hospital rules as well! It'll give us extra units with that historical feel to it, even though Pows are realistic l think it complicates a long game as it is already! We play with mines hitting at a 2 with a d6, would you recommend that or should it be a 1 if so please give me your reasoning on it!

Can't wait for this to get started! I would love to purchase this game for myself but I doubt where I live anyone would be interested, so not really worth the $$$

Does 1939 come with the units? Or do you have to buy them

oh and by the way, why does the whole of Spain have a republican symbol? because i am pretty sure that spain in 1939 had the republicans and the nationalists fighting, the nationalists should be in the west and vice versa for the republicans.

I'm just curious. How similar is this game copared to Xeno Games 1939-1945 The World at War? This is asumming you've played it.
