Is the free one that comes with the package normally good or just hot garbage and aftermarket would be better. Does WiFi 5/6/7 matter if I just care more about ethernet port directly to my pc for gaming thanks

Would the Huawei H112-370 be good for pc gaming? I plan to connect via a quality ethernet. But I hear 5g might not be ideal for gaming. I'm currently using a Huawei B535 4G router but its not great and I wonder if 5G would be better.

Just come out of contract with Three with the same router. It’s not bad but their customer service is awful and at times rude. Not worth the hassle as there were issues with it.

I have Sky full fibre 150. The strength of the WiFi from the Sky Max hub is dire. I don't want mesh discs in the house, what router would you suggest ( Max £350 ) for strong WiFi throughout house and into big back garden ? I told Sky in a recent survey that the Sky Max hub is not fit for purpose, a broadband engineer who does work for Sky said toss that pile of junk into a skip as soon as he saw it.

Three upgraded my Zykel hub with a ZTE MC888 router. The ZTE is far superior to the Zykel. 5g broadband isn't much good for gaming to to lag.

im moving in to a house with 5 other gamers for just one year. could we buy the mc888 and a 12 month 5g sim card off of amazon. would that be enough. would we also need ethernet cables and an ethernet switch?
