Caramelised Onion Tart

Whilst we focus on caramelisation, it’s worth looking at savoury products. This recipe demonstrates the caramelisation if the natural sugars found in onions when they are sautéed.

Ingredients:
Pack of filo pastry
1 or 2 onions (red)
Cheese - mozzarella / goats cheese / halloumi / feta
Oil
50g butter
Dried or fresh herbs
