DIY: How to sew a Chanel style jacket. How to edge the bottom of a jacket.

This is Paukshte Fashion Workshop. I remind you that we post new videos every day.
Today we continue working with the Chanel style jacket.
I've already showed you a lot of interesting techniques and details when sewing this jacket.
The jacket is almost ready. There are just few things left to be done.
Today I'm going to show you how to edge the bottom.
When I stitch the facing to the bottom, I’ll show you how it should look like. In this case the facing serves just as a decorative detail.
Please, be very accurate and attentive!
It’s very important to make the lining of the needed length. It shouldn’t be too short, but it shouldn’t be long either.
I remind you that the details with polyester batting in them shouldn’t be pressed to hard when being ironed.
You can make lining of the fabric which color is similar to the color of the facing details. We decided to make it of the brighter color. We did it mostly for you to see everything clearly.
Do not forget to cut the extra pieces of the polyester batting from the seams.
We are also going to show you how to turn the jacket right side out.
Natalie is going to show you how to make the bar tacks in order to attach the facing to the main fabric.
Next time we are going to show you how to attach the fasteners.
