What would you consider as leaving for too long? My wife is a world traveler leaving for a month or so at a time with no criminal history at all. She has had her green card for about a year and a half.

I am a US citizen, but my wife is a 10 year green card holder from Indonesia. Last year she was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart at a you scan register, it was a mistake for one pack of $4.99 batteries. I went to the police station to get her out and they told me I could pay a fine so I paid a fine because the court date was set up when she was leaving to go home because her father passed. I didn’t want to interfere with her trip so I paid the fine. Now we are about to go to Indonesia in September and I am concerned if she will have any problems when returning with me?
Thank you for your advice
