Stealing Food Is Not a Crime in Italy

Stealing a small amount of food to fight hunger, is not a crime, according to Italy's highest court. In 2016, judges overturned a theft charge against Roman Ostriakov, a homeless man who stole cheese and sausages, worth 4 euros from a supermarket. He had taken the food, "in the face of the immediate and essential need for nourishment", therefore it was not a crime, according to the court.

Keep some of our money here and feed people, help the homeless. Nobody in America should go hungry, and live on the street. We are better than that. Elderly are cutting medicine in half it’s so expensive. I see people helping people more than I use to. Don’t forget our Veterens!!!
