Unless you live up north you're going to have a lot of cool nights. We installed a diesel heater in our troopy. Best addition ever. Warm clothes, no problems with mold. We just reach over and adjust the temp to 22 degrees 10 minutes before getting out of our warm bed. Heaven
All the best with your rig Sorelle

Hello Sorelle, I just wanted to say that creators like you have sparked my passion for YouTube. Though I'm just starting out, your work has fueled my determination to grow and create content that resonates. Your ability to balance every aspect of your videos is truly inspiring, and I aspire to bring the same authenticity to my own channel. Though I believe I still lack that wisdom and knowledge you have in this space. I am determined to learn.

And because of your insights, I've expanded my perspective and begun building my platform. While it's still a work in progress, I dream of one day reaching the impact you've made on me and others and hopefully collaborating with creators like you.

Thank you for being such an inspiring force in this community. And I hope you see this!💪😎

As mentioned the diesel heater install is a must to easily solve your moisture problem.
Had to laugh when filming for YT content you have to run down the track & set up your camera/tripod & then run back to the Troopy & then drive past the camera & then jump out & collect it & then jump back in the Troopy & keep driving. The thought of how many times that process is repeated on trips would be far beyond my patience so credit to you👍

This is such a realistic video of what it’s actually like to live on the road 🙈 it has its highs and it definitely has its lows

Ha ha! I had to figure out what “squishy” meant. 😂 It definitely takes time to work out all the “bugs” and get a system put together that works for oneself. Trial and error until it works.

I was just wondering yesterday if you’d uploaded recently. Man. I got butterflies when you woke up in the first location. I could imagine the crisp air. The giddiness of excitement, what this adventure is going to be like. Thanks again for allowing this mumma to live vicariously through your awesome content. Side note… where you sleep, the floor, is there like holes or slats beneath the bed to allow ventilation? As well as a mini dehumidifier maybe a fan? What I found with my van set up was to keep it simple. I had little battery operated fairy lights above my bed around a mandala. Was my favourite part of my build. So simple yet made it feel so homely and calm

Air filtration system will work just fine. I have been planning my own "van life" as well as the home that I want to build and one thing that is a must, for my experiences, is air filtration throughout each sector or each room in whatever space, and others, inhabit or share. Smell is important for me and I never did like how spaces can be taken up by the smell of someone's way of existing in their space--mine included. I have used and been through many bathroom usages where mold and dampness just ruins things. Planning out ways to line your home with material that soaks up dampness is something to help create longer lasting homes...Literally I will have acreage that runs a lot like an allee effect...hard to do in vans and buses but ya...just air ventilation techniques will need to be considered regarding mold, smell, and various other bodily particles that would naturally stay in one place in stale environments. You may just have to invent something ;) A ventilation system build into the walls of the vehicle so it doesnt take up any more space...a lot of generative energy space...i wonder, have you learned how to use your own energy yet? The laws on that are dumb (I dont know about AU but in the USA you would get sent to jail if not worse) but I bet you could get away with free energy if you figured out how to generate it, naturally, to then run your innovative air filtration idea ;) also, how high are your expectations? curious...building something is quite fun unless you are moving through expectations...unless your experience is different than expectations?. children are interesting in those ways...I have been sitting with myself in these ways (i have nieces and nephews and a family to take care of that has been a major drive for my own personal successes in these ways)...trying to figure out how to relay the translations of these bodily experiences to toddlers who do not realize how to conceptualize or manage their "inner emotional thermometer" in times like building up to something and developing their desires into form is interesting...it is interesting viewing life the way that i have been, lately.

also, I am proud of you. I am excited for you. and it has been a joy watching you grow these past few years. <3

If mold is an issue maybe look into installing a combined fan and red light heat lamp like bathrooms have

Also just use materials and laundry detergents that handle mold better

Or just be prepared for planned obscelence like cheap shower curtains

Trying to find a way to dry everything when needed can be a pain! I lived in my SUV before I started driving trucks over the road, I had a piece of twine that went between the grab handles on the ceiling in the backseats and dried many things there 😂 Underwear, curtains, socks, leggings you name it! Absolutely SICK build Sorelle it’s coming together beautifully 🥰🤩✨

I put a bottle of water in with me after tucking in, then it’s body temp warm in the morning. Screw on a shower head and that’s the daily rinse taken care of without dancing under a chilly spray.

This is really educational for anyone who wants to try anything Like outdoor car camping, for someone who is used to outdoors Learning something such as there being a risk of mould developing in curtains of a car may seem simple, but is Fascinating for a first time Keen Learner

When I was at the poles I kept my clothing in a pillow bag. That way it captured the heat from my head and they were warm in the morning.

Trust me, Sorelle, get a ladder! I did my Lisfranc joint, with five fractures and a syndesmosis across my ankle, falling badly less than 50cm....
