Xerneas is the only Pokémon that changes forms during battle, kinda like an early version of Morpeko’s hangry mode coming soon!

The mode with its colors is due to its fairy aura ability which switches it to its attack mode

It's called resting in the game. Only changes color for battles

So when you are catching and battling xearneas it is in it's normal form/battle form but when it's in your inventory it's in its neutral form

Its the normal mode XD but the another colour is for battle thats normal
