Good old fashion British sense of humour 😅 He would drink in the Champion pub Bayswater Rd London, what a laugh we had, often would end up in a sing song.

I was in panto with Frankie Howerd and Dora Bryan at the London Palladium - way back in the early 70s. It was fun, but I'd have loved to do panto with John; they say he was phenomenal as the Dame, and here we can see why. He forms an instant bond with the audience.
