I'm proud of being almost 5 years clean and sober and this year I earned my associates degree, graduated with honors. Now I'm in university working on a bachelor degree in engineering.

Rest easy Troy, I hope Eddie carries on after all you're always with him and the fans. Montgomery Gentry will never be the same without you Gentry.

"Some people change" and "Hell Yeah" by Montgomery Gentry are also really good

This song hit me hard. I remember how I used to be homeless for four years after the military. And it's gonna sound bad. But I was happy that I got a job at the Pavilions I used to pan out in front of. The manager helped me make a resume and got me a job working as a courtesy clerk. Then the pandemic hit and I was still able to keep that job. I'm now working in the deli. I may not have a million dollars. But I'm so proud of working and being able to get a house next month and feel like I made it good for myself. I may not be rich. But I am damn proud to have a job and good security in it.

This is why I love country music, it tells a story. God and country

I am extremely proud of both of my children. My oldest has Aspergers Syndrome, graduated high-school in 2018 and is now excited to start technical school. My youngest came out of an abusive relationship, found herself and is going strong with her head held high and a smile on her face. It's an awesome feeling to watch your children grow and succeed. BILLY KEEP BEING CRAZY CUZ WE LOVE IT!!

I’m proud to be serving this country like my grandpa and my great grandpa did before me

I was my proudest serving as a U.S. Army Infantryman in the R.O.K. during the early 80s. I then got married got out of the Army and started a family. The only job I could find was as a sewer worker, so no honor working in other people's sh*t. But I got to go home about every night and spend time with my Wife and kids. I gave thanks to G*D ALMIGHTY for making me humble. Then the LORD blessed me by letting watch my daughter become a success in her chosen field, thru her own hard work and perseverance not asking any help from anyone. I'm proud of both my son and daughter. But I admit I have a special pride in my daughter. Buhdda head your dad loves you and is very proud of you.

My town is a very good song but everytime I hear or see a video by them it makes me think that we lost Troy Gentry at the age of 50 almost 3yrs ago and something I am proud of is the love me and my late husband had for each other and I am a very proud mother of 4 beautiful daughters

If you're doing what you're able
And putting food there on the table
And providing for the family that you love
That's something to be proud of

I remember Troy Gentry passed on the same day that country legend Don Williams passed.. Which was also weird because just a few weeks prior, I googled to see if Don Williams was still alive, because most of his live performances that I've saw looked like they were recorded in the 1980's.

R.I.P to Troy. He died the week before I was due to see him at my county fair. They're both legends for sure. I love their music. 💜

Troy was one of my dads best friends for over 20 years. Probably the most genuine guy that I’ve ever had the chance of knowing. I have this song title tattooed over an American Flag on my left arm in his honor and for our country which we should all be proud of. Really glad you did this song!
