I’ve been using my iPhone XR for about 4 years now and it’s still a good phone the only bad thing it that it over heats a lot and the battery is not that good and I still hope I can use it for 1 or 2 more years before I get a new one

I think it really depends on what your budget is. If you need a budget iPhone, you still can't go wrong with a XR. I had this last year at the same time I had an iPhone 13, and honestly other than the OLED screen and slightly better battery, the two phones aren't that different. I was getting like 5-6 hours of screen on time with 90 percent battery health. Obviously if you can afford to get a higher model then you should. But if you are on a tight budget and want iOS, I think the XR is still quality and one of my favorite iPhones ever. People complained so much about the LCD display but I never had a problem because it was bright enough and very color accurate. I'm a tech guy that uses his phone heavily and it served me well as a daily phone even in mid 2023 until I got the 13. If you want iOS quality I still say it's totally worth it.

The xr has 1792x828 (828p) 6.1 inch retina lcd screen, 3GB ram and a 2943 mah battery. A12 bionic chip single rear 12 megapixel cam 7 MP front cam. 60 hz. Supposed to be supported till 2025.

I just need a phone to Communicate and get the job done, and the xr does that really well, I don’t want those fancy cameras and I guess for most people they don’t care about too much for the cameras because not all people are photographs and so on

I still have mine. I love it. I put a new battery in it 2 years ago and my battery health is currently 90%. Won’t be upgrading anytime soon.

The iPhone XR is still worth it in 2024. I’m using a black iPhone XR. It isn’t working pretty good.

Interesting that you find the device to be slow. It definitely isn't fast anymore and can be a bit slow, but I think it holds up better than phones which were going on six years old many years ago. I am actually writing this comment on my iPhone XR. My daily driver iPhone is an iPhone 12 which is definitely a significant amount faster. I agree that you should not buy this phone in 2024, but for people who still have it, and are OK with it, I see no reason for them to upgrade.

Looking for an apple iPhone that won’t hurt my eyes
Went from an 8Plus to a 12. Whoa!! A few minutes if YouTube and my eyes were aching
Just purchased an XS. Same damn thing with the OLED screen
So, …I purchased an XR because of the screen display.
I dunno why my eyes would be sensitive to the brightness or the screen flickering 🤷‍♂️

But gotta save my vision
Turning down the brightness didn’t help much or dimming the BrightPoint
Let’s see how this XR works out
