My dad says it's an demo song from a female singer from 2001 he can't quite remember, her name started with an s and he believes her first name is Sasha or Sarah. He lived in Boston and a friend gave him a cd the song was on, he cannot find the cd sadly because he left most of his stuff in Boston to move to Florida

i swear to god i've heard this song before online in the very early 2010's or late 2000's on a youtube video or several of em. i think it might of been a sims 2 story video as i was obsessed with them back then in my early teens but i've 100% heard this song before. No idea what the video was or even if it's still online anymore but i've 100% heard this online in it's entirety before. All i recall is that it was under a female singers name not a band, but do not remember the singers name or the songs name.

Since many of us had mistaken Paula Toledo’s ‘How Long’ to be a 90s song, when it actually came out in the early 2000s. I’m now skeptical when it comes to potentially putting dates in these lost media.

For all we know, we could easily think this is from the 2000s. But country genre songs might be a bit difficult to date. Even more modern country music can sound like it’s older. Almost timeless.

I would say it sounds a bit like Leanne Rhimes. Especially when she says ‘Fizzled Out’. But it’s highly unlikely though. It could be someone that follows in her footsteps in musical style.

Mandy Moore in her early 2000s Era could be another possibility. But she was more into Pop. I’m not sure if Country was ever her thing.

I know Michelle Branch is know for her own Guitar Skills. But I don’t think it’s her.

Maybe Sheryl Crow? Her voice sounds huskier though. This singer sounds more lighter.
