making the reticle the exact same color as the thermal image is a terrible idea. The sig may not be a true reflex sight but it’s way more useable

The SIG Echo3 is about $3000, the ThermalPlus is $3500-ish. They're both high-end optics and very useful.

I love the thermal, night vision like that just needs a bit more improvement and I’d consider that as well. Very cool never the less, love the advancement in technology, it’s quite exciting

I have a echo three it’s got way more functionality than just the black and gray😅 I do like both thermals, but if I was going to drop a lot of cash, I would buy a Steiner

Hot sand thermaloptic works a lot better for hunting in my opinion. Set your reticle to a dark red, and it allows for way less opacity through leaves and at long distances

Yeah, but there is a huge price difference between the tube thermals and the digital thermals. Just like the difference between tube night vision and digital night vision. I wouldn't have access to thermals or to night vision at all if it weren't for the relatively low cost of the digital technology.

Both are real thermals, the second one is just an augmented reality HUD overlay inside the sight picture instead of being a thermal imaging tube that has been converted to a scope. Black Hot is real thermal lol.

What is the practical application for this? I use a single pvs14 for nav, handheld thermal to scan, rattler for hunting. This doesn't seem all that good at any of those things! But can do them all i assume..
