Wearing A Face Mask Riding ICON at Blackpool Pleasure Beach | Will It Stay On?

Join me as I take a ride on ICON at Blackpool Pleasure Beach whilst wearing a face mask. There's been a lot of questions if face masks stay on whilst on a roller coaster, so I put it to the test on Blackpool Pleasure Beach's newest roller coaster.

It’s completely fine wearing a mask on coasters, people who say you can’t breathe are just Karen’s, I’ve worn it oblivion, the smiler, icon and revoloution and it’s stayed on fine

A rainy day is definitely the best time to visit, today, the 23rd july there is no queue for the ICON, my kids managed 6 rides in the first hour, I could only handle 3 😀😀.
In contrast, the big one had a 35 minute queue as it can only handle 1 train on the track at one time, but still, was worth the wait . Also, in the rain the ride is smoother on the body 🤷‍♂️

Will have to say, did it the other day and the rattle is considerably worse. I know mack coasters have it but it was at the point where you can actually notice it if you wasn't expecting it, if that make sense. Anyway good video non the less! 👍

Went on friday after waiting since last year! Icon was definitely worth the wait! Back row was best place to sit! Gutted the big one was closed though due to high winds

My Bane style mask has a handy velcro strap round the backside of the ol' head. Perfect for coasters.

Now I just need to get my own ol' backside to a park lol

Going here Saturday, is this a ride to over come your fear of coasters, kinda glad you popped this video up, gives me an insight what it's like upto date. Were staying at the dj suites hotel, not sure how far it is from the fair.

It's good to hear they're blasting out the soundtrack on Icon which is the best ride in the UK. If I'm honest, the only coasters I'm worried about in terms of masks are Oblivion, big one and Stealth

Hi there I have one question, with the E-Tickets do you scan them at everyride like you would a wristband or Is it just one scan at the door and then you’re okay for the day? I’m planning on going with my friends but we would like to know what it’s like before we go
