Hey, I live and work for the ski resort of Les 2 Alpes.

It's technically forbidden for anyone to go up there lately cause of the construction work, but in reality, there's quite a lot of people going though.
I hope that you didn't have too much dust through your lungs tho, it's quite the fine dust up there..
It would have been better if you went on a saturday or a sunday, cause there is no more construction traffic except the exceptionnal maintenance truck.

I Hope you'll come back, as the construction will be done this year, it was the replacement of the main lift that goes all the way to the glacier that's being built.

Exceptionnal challenge you've put yourselves againt.
I keep telling the company I work for that we need to make a gravel event with that exact challenge.
I have transferred that video to them to show them how cool it is.

This was one of the best challenges yet and I'm massively impressed by Manon's staunch determination. Hank's the perfect wingman for these way-out-of-comfort-zone challenges-- his positivity is electric. Actually the Pico Veleta in Spain with 3396 m is higher, it is accessible by classic road bike, it has an elevation gain of 2800hm and a stunning view over Sierra Nevada. Looking forward to a GCN story about that climb. 😉
