Gary was the most soulful guitarist imo, and I can perfectly argue that. Andy Timmons cames close, but Gary was a master on soulful playing (nuances, note choice, bend and vibrato control, playing fast, facial expressions and even much more resources used in an intelligent way). I wholeheartedly agree that he was the only guitarist to make a guitar cry and scream of pain. There will never be another Gary.
