At the fifth annual Forum on Leadership, Mrs. Laura Bush presented Dr. Sakena Yacoobi with the 2022 George W. Bush Institute Citation Award for her work as the Executive Director of the Afghan Institute of Learning. Under her leadership, the organization has provided education, health, and training services to the underserved in Afghanistan.
