I have a short drabble on why they still make those horror sounds:

So, since they all survived the incident and stuff, they are traumatized by it. Now, being traumatized sometimes doesn't let you be your old self. Sometimes it makes you unable to act like before. Now apply this to the surived version of Sprunki. They're all bandaged up, and they are all healing from the trauma. That event was traumatic, that they couldn't let go, so they temporarily sing the horror stuff. So it makes sense (to me) why they don't sing like they used to.

In conclusion: They're still healing and they didn't let go of the past yet.

(For the purple dude's mouth being wide asf someone made a possible reason why, do check that out)
