Ever since I kind of stumbled upon what was all going down in China and other counties abroad (as far as human rights, ect) I have actually become more patriotic to the US. I'm far less focused on 'bickering' and endless rhetoric and more concerned with the world as a whole. I also can appreciate the LUCK and privilege I have to own even what little I own. ❤

I agree that TikTok has to go. It has to be banned. I would still allow people to use VPNs to access it. But The decoupling has to be on the virtual level too. Maybe get rid of Volvo which is owned by Geely, a Chinese car company has to go, no more Chinese products selling in the US.

Your political score certainly makes sense. It explains exactly the evolution of your views on China. When China was more a live and let live society you shared a very positive view of the country and its people. As it has swung back toward rigid dictatorial control yours and Winston’s presentations have become more critical. Someone in the middle with a slight libertarian leaning would certainly have loved a nation that allowed the freedom to explore and lamented the loss of freedom as it slips back into Marxist-Maoism.

I think it's clear that there are some places where the political divide is indeed extreme, but in most places it seems to be rather tame. A few weeks ago I was at a doctor's office and a very staunch Republican and a very staunch Democrat we're having a cordial conversation despite a _very clear_ political disagreement. I would say it was refreshing, if it wasn't for the fact that I had to listen to them for about 20 minutes while I was trying to focus on doing some work (they were sitting right next to me LOL).
