How can San Martin justify the PT5000 in that dress watch is worth £140 when compared to the quartz alternative. Not even the Motorola 9k series is worth more than £100 tops. They need to also put some AR on the crystal too.

Excellent video, perfectly timed and well produced. As for the watches, until you got to the last SM, the dress watch, all too expensive, when you add on 20% tax. Example: The Tactical Frog, solar. I got a new in the box big brand, value retainer Orient, 3 black subdial on white Solar Chronograph JDM model delivered from Japan for about $30 less including tax and with a worldwide Orient warranty. The TF is undoubtedly a good watch, but you can get an original for less if you look around. There are so many watches from bigger brands with real local warranties to compete with the San Martins. I actually got an original Tissot PRX for $30 cheaper from an Italian seller on Chrono 24. Ok, it was the quartz one, but why get a copy Tissot when you can have a real Tissot? I have a Tuna so for me the big value on this list is the Heimdallr Turtle, I put in my basket. I might consider the Seestern if the sale price is significantly lower. When a Chinese brand starts entering entry and mid level big brand territory it's a good idea to look around before spending what is basically a lot of money for a watch with no real warranty.

Problem with the new seesterns is that the lume hue is different between the indices and the handset and it just messes the chromatic coherence of the watch imo. That doesn't show in the renderings, but it does show in the video they have in the listing. People may think that i nit-pick, but to me it is important. It is small details like these that make me enjoy the watch or not. I'd also like to see seestern making their logo more geometrical and serious, since their cartoonish starfish cheapens their nice watches. They even kept it on the GS homage, which is their most dressy watch! They may not put it on the dial (that would be awful), but still it is an issue because you can see it on the crown, the clasp and the caseback. It is just too cartoonish to be passable...

San Martin have gone mad basically. You can get the Tissot quartz prx for the same price. A Swiss made watch with an original design and heritage or a Chinese clomage?? What's going on with the prices??

I think the hour hand on the real Doxa 600T is wider than the hour hand Seestern used (which appears to be more like a 300T hand).
