How to Copy from One Project and Paste in Another Project Within DaVinci Resolve

This is a quick video showing you how to copy assets from one project's timeline in DaVinci Resolve 16 and paste it in another project's timeline. You can also copy and paste assets from one timeline and paste it in a different timeline within the same project.

looks like this will only work if the project (timeline) is within the same database. I had to export one project out of one database and import them in to the same database to make the dynamic switching work. This was a great tutorial. thanks for showing us the way.

This is super helpful! Thank you! If you are new to D.R. 18 this is a MUST KNOW move! It will save you a ton of time. You can create an introduction or ending trailer, for example, just once, and then pull it into your new project over and over! I did it just now for the first time. I didn't see any other videos about how to bring the intro from one timeline into the next timeline in the series. This was so clear, and done with a smile! Amazing thank you. I always exported the entire timeline and pasted into a new project, which never enabled the ability to work with the original clips. This has really helped thumbs up!
