Event is fun to play. This is ehy I play it, no matter the reward.
That said reward is ok, but castle levelling becomes too hard at some points. They should put a limit like 75k coins per castle level so if you are doing great you gain more chests

They decreased it from 1 orange pattern to 12 grey ones and we need 16 gray to create 1 orange pattern.

At what level should you stop upgrading the castle? If the castle upgrade is 50k, then ( without the golden ticket) my guild would be spending 50k for 30 hero chests (1 per player.) Without any more castle upgrades, individual guild members would get 1 chest for every 1k saved.

For me the rewards are very worth to get the ticket - but I don't get it instantly every event - I wait until I am sure we are good enough to get to the orange gift of domion. If we were paired poorly with to strong or active oponent guilds where we can not gather castle levels I miss out on the ticket and walk with the free reward alone.
I also don't "donate" any accumulated coinst to the level after we reached the one with the gift. The rewards afterwards are too poor (with 15 chests per level) and cost to much to bring the level further up - therefore I keep them all and get 2 chest per every 1.000 coins in my acc. If you be a bit attentive you can observe this behavior from older guilds (lower server numbers) as well. Although they may have first or 2nd place in overall ranking of the event, often they don't are as much furthe into castle levels as i.e. guilds from newer servers who dedicate every single coin collected into the level all the time. I know this is kind of a selfish behaviour - but until the orange gift I also spend every coin to progress. In this game you can not always be doing whats best for all ... at some point you have to decide whats best for yourself.

still match making sucks. how we are new server not a 6 month old and matching up with server 189 or 61 is good matched up they were maxed out not only hero but pet also.

I want a game I play as and when I want to play, not a demanding game. Unless the reward is like US$50, 000.
Logon, move 12 steps, logoff or waiting beside the game for steps is not a fun game. Are we suppose to stop what we are doing in real life, login to move/attack, and continue our real life and repeat every few hours?
Do away with AoC or have "energy bottles" where using it can move 3/6/9/12 steps. But just drop AoC, no point trying to improve a game mode where the game structure does not support eg. chat, rally, shield, etc.

1st of all. Why there is no reward (literally) for the 4th guild? 2nd. The champions season is garbage. But, it's value is not 45 dollars if your guild do a gift chain. It is around 30 dollars. 3rd. These hero upgrade chests give random items. For example, chaos particles which are completely useless IMO. So, this analysis is not accurate since all items don't have the same value for every player. In conclusion i agree that it is more valuable than Campions Season (slightly better around 5-6 dollars worth in money) but still not worth it. I prefer to keep my money and buy emeralds x5 than this because i can use them wherever i like and i am not depended on luck to give me the right items from the chests.
