(HEATING) Remember to fit some sort of Heating, if you are thinking of going up in the northern hemisphere, make a little room for a Diesel Heater, keep you and little nugget warm. Love to watch all your vlogs. I admire all of your skills, very in touch with everything to do with the boat.❤

Really interesting video guys!

I did have a thought on Delos. Given she is not only a serious boat, but also an inspiration to so many for your lifestyle, why don’t you work with Brady and Alex and get her over to California and have her be a part of Cruisers Academy?

Imagine a future for Delos where she not only has inspired so many, but now becomes and instrument for people to be trained to sale and be part of the lifestyle? Anyways, just my two cents worth…

I've enjoyed watching you grow and mature as a man and sailor since 2016. Thanks for all the incredible adventures. I'm so happy for you both!

You been my inspiration from your early youtube beginning. I was a lake sailor on Masurian Lake District. I got a retired from the army, bought my auctioned 38 Beneteau first ...37 yo boat, fully refitted on my own and I travel around the world since pandemy. All the best for you and your brother and I am looking forward to see a new Delos cat.

What an adventure and that's just us watching you guys living the dream, can't believe I've been watching for ruffley 13.5 years!! One small consideration for Delos 2.0 is camera/film/Drone equipment safe storage with battery charging options built in nothing worse than hunting for charging cables when you need them. Stay safe. x

I'm in my 80’s, so got to thinkin'. When my time comes, I'll be free to meander in an eternity of time and space. After I catch up with my grand parents and relatives, I think I’ll head out to the South Pacific and cruise with you guys for a little while in your new catamaran. I promise to not get in your way.

I haven’t been to French Polynesia since the 80’s but always knew it would be the place to be when the SHTF, which I suspect isn’t too far off. - Motu Iti.

I think your viewers will love this boat build. There’s one thing I have come to learn about being Australian… the world loves our unique accent & “she’ll be right” attitude.
I hope Nugz enjoys her time here too experiencing Kindy (Kindergarten) here.
I was a volunteer parent helper in my kids Kindy every week, & I absolutely loved my time there playing dress ups & doing arts & craft.
I also hope she enjoyed her 5th birthday. Cannot believe she’s a big 5 year old now. ❤

Omg I love that you said you read all the comments. So I’m commenting for the first time. I have watched your channel since the beginning and have gone from thinking people who sail across oceans were lunatics with a death wish to realising it can be as safe or safer than driving around in a car or walking across a road. I have only been on a couple of tour boats near land but loved every minute of being on the water. Before finding your channel I would have rather poked sticks in my eyes than sail across an ocean. Now I would totally love to do it one day. And that’s coming from a boring 52 year old lady from New Zealand who hasn’t really taken many risks in life. You are both so inspiring and are wonderful role models to your beautiful daughter. Keep doing what you do ❤

I've been watching your channel for years and you inspired me to dream of boat life some day with my family. I was browsing boat listings the other day when I saw an Amel Super Maramu like yours. I had to click on it. When I saw the picture of the salon, I felt a wave of nostalgia for all the happy memories made at that table that you've shared with the world. I'm wistful for a possible future doing the same with my own family.

Thank you for letting all us land lubbers live vicariously through your adventures. I love that you haven't lost touch or appreciation for the life you're living. Live well for all of us dreaming to join you!

I love you guys so much! I can’t believe anybody would make such a silly comment about Brian being older? What happened is life for sure. And in my mind, he looks much more handsome than when he was young he was distinguished and such a great father and husband. These are amazing qualities. Good luck to you guys. I love watching your videos and I wish you all the best forms. Hugs from Arizona.

As much as I’d LOVE to buy Delos as my first yacht, because she has been the most inspiring boat in my life; you guys should keep her. Charter her as a side business, or sell her to Brady? Gotta keep that boat in the family. She’s been with you too long to be getting rid of her. She’s a member of the family at this point.

I’m super excited about Delos 2 though! As an aluminum welder, that sort of construction has been a daydream of mine for a long time, and I think it’s amazing that you guys are going that route. Watching the ship take shape before your eyes must be so cool

Hey SV Delos, writing from Quebec, Canada here! I was watching episode 383, and you mentioned that your audience is 110% men, well I'm a woman enjoying this channel... and inspiring my family to buy a sailboat, project to be fulfilled in the next year hopefully. Even if I am head over heels in love with my man, I REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING YOU, BRIAN, SHOWERING ON THE DOCKS, more please!!! 🤣

I know huge changes are happening for you and your family. But please never change the end of your videos. Every time I watch the end and Sierra goes “Woo Hoo” it makes me laugh and brightens my day.

I’ve stumbled on your videos when your crew stumbled on some fire spinners like me in Indonesia. 7 to 9 years ago. It’s been a blast watching Delos and crew sail the seas. 20 years ago my father and I built a boat together, so I’m so excited to see you build Delos 2.0. ❤ 🔥 😮.

Big changes ahead! Glad to see you are able to keep Delos 1.0 and won’t be land bound while 2.0 is being built. It’s going to be interesting seeing how your daughter reacts to being on land. She can actually ride her bike more that two feet!

I crewed some years ago on a aluminum Palmer-Johnston schooner and it was the coldest trip I ever experienced. Spare no expense in your choice of insulation, especially if you head North.

I like the idea of a mast mounted FLIR/visual camera, plus the dolphin cam. Don't forget all the underwater lights. 😊

ADD TO LIST: Windows in the hull to watch the fish and coral .. I do like the idea of mounted video cameras. Something on a wi-fi so you can go ashore and watch to make sure no one is on the boat or keep an eye on things like bilge water levels/leaks, dragging the anchor, pirates trying to come aboard. You know, all those crazy daily issues!! lol... Ps. I am a boilermaker... Nuclear plants were my gig.
